Built From the Veterinary Student Experience

Tanisha Banerjee, founder of RoundsXP

As a veterinary student at VMCVM, I created RoundsXP to build community around shared clinical experiences and help students learn from one another. I saw an opportunity to turn those everyday experiences into something more: a way for students to track their progress toward clinical competencies and better understand their development throughout veterinary school. By turning student experiences into meaningful progress data, RoundsXP can also help veterinary schools monitor competency development and reduce the administrative burden on faculty and staff.

Long-term vision

It shouldn't end at graduation.

RoundsXP starts as a veterinary student's clinical record - but it doesn't have to stop being useful the day school ends. The goal is for students to look back and see what they experienced, what skills they built, and how they grew - and to stay connected to the classmates who grew alongside them.

The experiences are worth keeping. So is the community that came with them.

Where RoundsXP fits

RoundsXP isn't the only clinical tracking tool. Institutional platforms like One45, Exxat, and Vetbox already handle competency tracking and clinical education management for schools, and individual case-log apps exist for students.
